: Big Block heads & PG question Jimmy P Nov 29th, 99, 7:08 PM I just pulled a valve cover off of my newly aquired SS 396. The heads are 6272292. I'd like to know valve size, combustion chamber size and if these heads are any good to modify. RatPowr Nov 29th, 99, 10:15 PM Yes, some Big-Block SS cars did come from the factory with a Powerglide. ------------------ 66 Big-Block Chevelle Houston, TX ACES#3321 plain 69 Dec 1st, 99, 7:44 PM No SS 396's in 1969 came with a powerglide although the 3-speed manual came standard. Next was the m-20,m-21,m-22, and turbo -400.
