I have a set of 1968 "291" heads with 1.94 1.5 valves i just got them back from the shop and i forgot to get them drilled and tapped for accesories in order to put them in my 1971 Chevell is this possible or is there another route to go?
If you don't have ac, then it is just a matter of the lower alternator spacer mount. You can always fabricate a support that comes off the first exhaust manifold bolt, rather than the front of the head. You'll need a little more enginuity if you have ac.......GT

The 68 and earlier heads DO NOT have the bosses cast into them for accessories like the 69-later have. DON'T DO IT! You're just asking for trouble.

Like Tom says, your asking for trouble. You'll drill into the water jacket. Start looking for another set of heads. Ask the shop that did the work if they have another set with holes already drilled and tapped. maybe they will trade.
I have set of 041 heads from a 69 that have the accessary holes. They work great.
