anyone used these pistons with open chambered 049/781 heads?

worried about piston touching heads...

they are L2242, which is same as L78

I'm using them with #820 open chamber heads and no problems.

is that similar to the 049 heads? Thank you!

All I can tell you is that they're both large oval port, open chamber heads. #820 was used in '71-'72 on 402 and 454. The comb chamber spec is 113cc.
