I just installed a 670cfm Holley Street Avenger carb and I installed one of the adjustable fuel lines. The problem is the little hex nut plug at the start of the fuel line where I think is for a fuel pressure gauge is leaking. I have tightened it as tight as I can but still seeps gas. Is there anything I can put on the threads that would stop the leak that would be safe in the engine compartment.
Thanks for all replies.

You can do the teflon tape or teflon pipe dope, its kinda the consistantcy of silicone before it goes off. Maybe a little runnier. I would use the pipe dope stuff in this case, if you mess up and get the teflon tape into the fuel line that stuff will string out for miles! Keep needle and seats from closing, etc...

The teflon tape won't disintegrate from fuel or anything? I was also concerned that the pipe dope may not have a good effect if it gets into the fuel. Just curious.
