Hi guys, I'm curious about how much the factory would allow on a special order car. My 68 chevelle SS conv. had a steel holley intake and a holley 650 carb when i bought it 15 years ago. It was assembled at the Kansas City plant. Even though it was not a 375 horsepower car, could it have been a special order for a 325 HP car? I never had a build sheet w/the car, but the paint color was a special order, that's why i'm wondering if the factory would allow a holley setup on a special order.

The 66 360 HP came with an iron oval port manifold and Holley. Someone switched the Q-jet manifold for the earlier holley one.
