I would like to replace the non-original valve covers on my 1967 396 with something that looks original. I prefer the original look with the Tonawanda sticker.

Parts catalogs list valve covers with drippers and without drippers. Does anyone know which is the correct design for these cars? And what difference will it make to the car's operation?

Sellers on ebay are offering original appearing valve covers for $20 or $30. Compare that to the ones from catalogs that cost from $60 to $110. Should I spend the extra money or are the cheaper ones the same as the more expensive ones?

Thanks for your help!!

If your motor is stock then get the ones with drippers. Usually roller rocker motors run the ones with out. Remember you get what you pay for.
