Has anyone used any good coatings for stock big block manifolds? POR, Eastwood, etc..
How hot do the manifolds actually get?

I had mine coated by swain tech in scottsville new york.they coated the manifolds on the inside and out.its white in color,so i painted them with high temp cast.looks great/like new even after two summers .this coating keeps the manifolds only hot to the touch.look at it at swaintech.com ,its called white lightning.

good luck http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif

If you want some great stuff try Calyx 1 800 313-5671 about $25 delivered. Spread it on using a tooth brush and schzam, you got great exhaust manifolds. I could not beleive how well it worked on my 70 SS took anout 30 min for both and the best part is I did not have to remobe the manifolds!!! I actually put it over some 60% worn off silver exhaust paint!
