Anyone run the "NASCAR" type BBC valve covers p/n 12371244 - they are listed as the "aluminum competition valve covers" with the Chevrolet script and the bowtie. I'd like to know how tall they are at the lower rear corners.

2-3/4" at the corner and 3-3/4" at the peak.

Thanks Dave. Is that from the head surface or the top of the lip on the valve cover? Do these covers use the o-ring style gasket?

rwelch, those are measurements taken with the valve cover sitting on a flat surface. They use regular gaskets, not O-rings.

Ralph, Thanks for the complement! They were a big investment I labored over. The back spacing is 5" front, 5.625" rear.

Well worth the investment....although it did take a while to convince myself of that! Very $$$$.
