Does anyone have a good site that shows all Ertl American Muscle Diecasts that are available?

COPO,

Try here:
www.diecastmuscle.com/ertlhome.htm (http://www.diecastmuscle.com/ertlhome.htm)

Also you might try Ebay.
I personally have the '70 SS454 Champagne Gold/Black stripes with black interior. #7808.
I'm poking around for more, but that's all I have for now.

Hey COPO,

Also try EXOTICAR Model Company; www.EXOTICAR.com, or Peachstate Muscle Car Collectibles; www.mindspring.com/~peachgmp. They both carry a good selection of neat die cast models. I confess to having a serious addiction to models with about 200 1/18" scale models in my collection! mgg

There are a bunch of places. The ones mentioned sound familiar. Plus http://www.hobbycollectable.com
Go to your favorite web browser ( I prefer altavista ) http://www.altavista.com/ then do a search on ERTL (as an example)

I can remember where I bought my '70 SS454 Champagne Gold/Black stripes with black interior. #7808. Had to search for a long time because it is out of production.

Just hit the search engines.

Mark,
Have another site for you:
http://www.ertltoys.com/hobby/productselect.cfm?plevel1=HOBBY&plevel2=AMMUSCL&plevel3=CAR&plevel4=NA&plevel5=NA
Then you can click on either "In Stores" or "Archived".
Good Luck!
Bill...I REALLY like the Ertl that we have, except...where's the vinyl top? http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif

Thx guys. Riff the first one you mentioned is the one I currently have been using. They list 69 ZL1 and 69 COPO Camaro's but I have not seen any at any Hobby Stores....Mark

Those cars were made in limited production for a company in Minnesota, sorry I don't remember their name. I bought a few of those cars from them for my collection as they were the only people selling them for a reasonable price. They send me sales fliers every month or so. You may find vendors at swap meets selling the same cars but they step on the price if you know what I mean!

I have the solution....a friend of mine has over 1100 1/18th scale American Muscle Cars. If you want it, he's got it. If you want his number, e-mail me. I don't think Al would like me to post it here....
Prices are reasonable, too.

I think I found the URL for the place ( Tony's) where I got my #7808 from.

Fred,
I saved a piece of the actual black vinyl top that I plan to put on it. ( some winter day when I'm bored) I think it will look better than just painting it. I was also thinking about making the interior Saddle.

Does the hood on your's open all the way? The cowl hood hits the windshield and it won't fully open.

Bill,
Why not drop a 4spd into it too? http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif
I like the vinyl top idea though...hmmm
I haven't even taken it out of the box yet to get a good once over of it. Will let you know though.
