Need to know which pushrod length checkers i should get for my 454. i know comp make some adjustable ones, but it seems powerhouse and summit both have similar ones. What have you guys used? what works best? also any tips on checking the lengths? thanks ahead of time!

I use the Comp (Powerhouse) ones. You need two of them for a Rat. The Comp #'s are 7703-1 & 7704-1
The length for your heads should be real close to 8.450 intake & 9.600 exhaust but you need to check them.

I used the simple arse one from Manley. You jsut stick it on with a stock pushrod ( or whatever) and it shows a gap on the pushrod or valve side. Dumb arse easy BUT it cannot DETERMINE the correct length unless you already have a few pushrods.
