I am looking for a pair of heads to replace the dinky 2.08I heads I have now. I am considering Merlin Iron with the 2.30I. How close are they to the LS-6 heads, and are there better heads for this engine? Also what type of piston will get in the compression ballpark of 10.5:1? They will be 60 over. Mainly used for crusing and trips to the 1/8th on weekends. Weiand Action+ Squarebore intake, and the 7162 Edelbrock cam. 93 Pump gas on the street and race fuel at the track.
