I'm having a problem with timing....
350 modified for a boat about 10 years ago....however it never made it into the boat and has been sitting in the back of my garage. At the time of the build it ran fine on a test stand.
I set it into a 40 Ford coupe I've just completed...but it runs like a dog now. It will not run anywhere near TDC....I have to advance it out 40 degrees or better to get it to run right.
I've lost the specs on the cam shaft....was nothing special...was a COMP cam matched to 9.5 to 1 set up.
It has the correct balancer and timing tab... when setting the timing gears up at TDC..everything lines up correctly.
I've have set the crank gear up at 4btd....0....4atd...
runs nasty in all settings.
Any help would be appreciated
