: How to remove engine wiring harness? (69)

I need to remove the forward lamp harness and engine wiring harness at the firewall.
They both connect at the firewall with the engine harness on the left (facing firewall from front of car) and the forward lamp harness on the right.

I have removed the bolt from the connector. It appears that the engine harness is suppose to come out first followed by the lamp harness. However, neither wants to budge. Is this the correct order?

I don't want to break something and I am not sure how hard to pull. Therefore, I just wanted to see if there is anything I should watch for when removing these two connections at the firewall.

Thanks.

I think they come out as a unit [], then will come apart. They interlock. At least my 70 is that way.

Yeah, they should both come out at once, but it shouldn't take too much force to pull them out, the connections are lubed up with special electical goop. Once you get the whole thing off, you can separate the lamp and engine harnesses.
