Next weekend, I plan to replace the lower control arm bushings on my car and while the arms are out, I think I'll replace the springs. They are terribly worn.

Any suggestions on some reasonably priced parts that will give the car firmness but not make for an uncomfortable ride?

I just put new springs in the front of my 72, it had a 350 in it originally, and I put a big block in it...I went with big block non a/c springs...didnt raise it much, but keeps it from bottoming out the hooker headers....rides good on the highway too....just my thoughts....
