Interesting story on COPO special paint Chevy Citations.

There is an on going discussion on if there were any COPO paint Chevelles so it is interesting that this guy calls these Citations COPO ordered cars.

Most speical paint built sheets have F&SO paint but I have seen a few that show COPO paint so I believe that some Chevelles were COPO special paint

Intersting story, Thanks for posting it, I learn something new everytime I come here.

It is funny that it mentions the 1980 Citations had poor radio reception. A friend's father ordered one new (4 cyl, 4-speed, gauges, h.d. suspension). I remember being surprised at how good the reception was on that Delco am/fm stereo. We could drive way up north to cottage country and still get great fm reception from Toronto 2 hours away. Of course the transmitter being on the CN tower may have had something to do with it, but we were all surprised by how good it was.
