HeY, I was wondering what any one knows about the 267 chevy V8?
I am real curious about this engine and I can't find anything about it online.

Books show them in '79 to '82 Monte Carlos, don't know that I've ever heard of or seen one. SMALL bore with regular 350 style crank. Here's a link to a photo of one. http://www.rebuilt-auto-engines.com/cgi-bin/webc.cgi/st_prod.html?p_prodid=207&p_catid=111&sid=1AlF2z0lrF7N51M-20103436181.42

ahh yes, the forgotten 267. I had one in a 80' Camaro. These engines were built with economy in mind and thats it. I think they were in production for 3 years 79-81?? Small bores, and crappy heads produced a very underpowered motor, that could be hopped up with some H.O. 305 heads and a Proformer cam.
Decent dialy driver motor in my opinion, took alot of abuse with my lead foot. Just my 2 cents.

He, He!! Be a great little engine ta drop a 3.00" crank in and rev her to the moon!!! Should go 8,000rpm easy AND higher what with the short stroke...

It would come out to about a 230 inch motor if she was 276 stock at a 3.5" bore!!!

Great ta play with in a little bitty light car and plenty of gear just like a 265 or 283!!

Don't these little buggers also have really small exhaust valves??

Like 1.375" or something like that to go with the 1.72" intake??
