Just something I've been wondering - is it possible to run an electric water pump in a street car? Is there any advantage or disadvantage to doing this? I've seen a lot of cars posing as "street cars" running these, and I was just wondering what the deal was.

Just saw a guy in a 68 Chevelle 396 that had just driven non-stop from Florida to Chicago. He had an electric water pump and said it worked great. First guy I talked to that had a lot of miles on one.
