HELP/I HAVE SUPPOSELY A LT-1 /350 IN A 65 CHEVELLE/I CANT FIND ANY NUMBERS EXCEPT ON THE BACK OF BLOCK #1041020 /CAN ANYONE HELP ME ?/YOU WONT HURT MY FEELINGS IF ITS NOT/ I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT IT IS/THERE ARE NO NUMBERS ON BOSS IN FRONT/COULD THIS BE A GM REPLACEMENT MOTOR ?

You better go look at this number 1041020 again, it does not make sense. The closest match's I can find are 14010201, 14010202, 14010203,14010205,14010207,14010209,14010280, 14102058. None are LT1 engines, they are 267, 305 and 350 version's from the '80's.

Are the words "Hencho in Mexico" on the block? TargetMaster (GM Parts) replacement Engine

I believe the LT1 Corvette/Camaro engine used block 3970010.

the number should have been 14010207/the 7 looked like a ] so i didnt put it on /further research makes me believe its a 80-85 gm 350 4 bolt main truck block/thanks for the help/oh well i want a 502 anyway so the lt-1 isnt a big loss/lol
