Just bought a set of stock(Taiwan)valve covers.Seller said they had drippers these do not.I did a search and the responses were kinda mixed. My question is,running the stock rocker arms do I need the drippers?
Anybody not running the drippers who have had no problems?
This is not a daily driver just a weekend warrior and no track time. Thanks
Anybody want to trade a set of chrome covers with the slant and the drippers? This is for a 69 with a 396.

Mike, for what it's worth. I bought some of those aftermarket covers with drippers and the slant. Had to grind down the drippers to get clearance even with a nearly stock cam. The rocker arms were hitting the drippers big time. I almost had to grind them completely off. You should be fine without the drippers. rb6667

The stock valve covers that were on the used engine I bought do not have the drippers.

Elcaminos are special!
I'd rather walk around with a Chevrolet hubcap in my hand than drive a Ford

I have 2 big blocks sitting in the garage, both have their factory covers, and have no drippers.I run the cheap chrome ones with no baffles on my 454,no drippers either..NO problems.

I miss a lot, but I don't remember seeing any factory valve covers with drippers.
