If anyone knows where I can get a decent body for a '70 (or any other interchangeable year) El Camino please let me know. I would prefer it to be a shell with a rolling chassis. I tried posting in the WANTED section of Team Chevelle but didn't get any responses. I just had a guy who had a great one for me for $200 but it got sold to another guy because he inquired about it first.

How far are you willing to travel to get a body? I see you live in NY.
I know someone who might still have a 71 and a 72 El. One with No engine and trans. But I doubt you can get it for $200 bucks out here. No rust is a benefit from living in the desert. It is located in Rosamond, California. 80 miles north of LA
Plus I still have a phone # for a guy that has a 70and a 68, same town.
(hmmmm, just need a 69 now)

near huntingdon, tn a guy has a slavage yard full of chevelles( one ss396 very rough), El Caminos and novas very cheap

sundells will usually help on delivery..I bought a 66 conv frame from them years ago and they brought it up to carlisle PA for me, I just met them there and picked it up.
