Hello all,
I have recently begun an installation of the Street Bandit kit from NPD.
I have the kit installed at the wheel but during removal of the old drums, the original line crumbled. Time for some new ones. I've been looking at various places for pre-bent lines, but decided to make my own. I have a double flaring tool and am about to do the fittings. I noticed on the original Drum brake system, there is what appears to be a distribution block that. I don't want to assume, so here is my quesition..
Is the distribution block on the stock Malibu Drum setup ok for use with the disc conversion. The conversion kit, as far as I can tell, is pretty close to the original disc option for the car.
Also, is there anyone who has used one of these Street Bandit kits before, and if so, is it worthwhile for me to flare my own lines, or is there an inexpensive line kit out there?
