I recently replaced the quadrajet on my 350. The car ran ok (but not great with the Q-Jet). Now when I accelerate the car sputters and dies (seems to cough up through the carb prior to dying) but doesn't backfire - just dies. Idles fine. I have the timing set to 14BTC have replaced all vacume lines and changed the fuel filter. The automatic choke is set a little to the lean side. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?
