Where did chevy use SB harmonic balancers bigger than 8" dia (for 350's)? I tried putting timing tape on mine, I bought 8" balancer tape but it was too short. I measured around it, 27 1/8" which means my balancer is 8 5/8 dia. I can't find any other SB balancer this size, so no timing tape or correct timing tabs available. I'll have to make my own. Does anybody know where this balancer could have come from? (I thought it was from a 74 suburban 350....)
