I plan on using a stone hone. What lube works best? any other tips? thanx. :rolleyes:

Our experience has been that the three stone hones sold for home use will cause more damage to a block than they are worth. If you are just re-ringing the engine, use a "dingle ball" hone, or nothing. Use tons of honing oil and make sure to get the correct crosshatch angle. Your machine shop should be able to show you how, and maybe sell you some honing oil.
