I know this has been discussed in the past but I'm hoping there is a new solution. Who makes the best repro to boot for my 65 ? I know none of them come with clips attached, but the clips I've seen from OPG are unprotected metal and I'm afraid that they will scratch the stainless mldg. or the paint. Is this true ? Does anyone make a nylon coated clip for the 65 boot ? Any help would be appreciated.

I used the OPG clips for my 1964 once on Ive never taken it off. The boot overlaps a lot you cant see the molding.
