Do you just measure the valves? I have a set of 781 heads also but I'm not sure on the valve size. Cable Jan 18th, 03, 3:46 AM Hey Tom, as far as I know no large oval BBC prouduction head ever had larger valves than 2.06/1.72". Just a rule of thumb. Now I have seen them smaller though. Several tall deck 366 and 427 have have taken apart have had really small valve in them.
