I had to take my heads off and I forgot the order and torque specs to bolt my heads down with. Can some one please post them? I have a 1969 ss with a 396. Thank You...

The torque on the long bolts is 75 foot pounds and the short, outer bolts is 65.

I would advise you purchase or borrow an engine assembly book for BBC's. The method will advise starting in the center most bolt and working away from the center with torque increments of 10 foot pounds and moving up from there. Put a sealer on the bolt threads and oil the bolt head where it meets the head to insure metal to metal binding doesn't occur.

There will be information in the book that will advise on intake installation also.
