Does anyone havea diagram of a V8 (305). They can send me through email, or know of one online to help me as a reference. (the car before my Camino was a Chrysle Lebaron, sad enough) So when I got my Camino the engine was like a whole new world to me. (4 bangers compared to a V8, lol... NO COMPETITION).

...uuuhhh....diagram? Do you mean you are trying to figure out where the cylinders are? j/k!
Go on down to your local auto parts vendor, or book store, of choice. You should find that they sell general repair manuals like Chilton's, Clymer's etc. You may have to ask them to order one that covers your car, but I can guarantee that it would be a good place to start in acquiring general knowledge about your '84 El Camino. if they have a Malibu book covering the '84 year that will work just fine for the engine and general mechanical.

Or better yet, go down to your local Barnes and Noble great big bookstore and look through all the great Hot rod engine books by a whole bunch of people! I have a bunch of both BB and SB, plus one each on Pontiac and Ford just to keep up on them...
I need to expand and finish my collection by getting Olds, Buick and the big Cad., too.. If I can find them. And to me the early Hemi's and the Ford Flathead's are too old!! But great engines in their own right!!!
