I am rebiulding my first motor. I am torn between whether i should go with a roller cam or not. I am buying pieces for my heads right now and i need to know are there different springs for rollers or will all springs do roller and non-roller as long as they can handle the lift?

As least in the mild street solid grinds I was not too seriously checking, yes the springs were bigger o.d. and were over 100+ psi stiffer on the nose. ( at full lift)

Check the specifics of the cams you are considering, likely you'll have to make your spring choice now.

If you are considering a roller for the "more power" it will give, also consider a solid flat tappet.
