Weiand Stealth on BBC. About 200 miles on it, and noticed small leak (oil I assume) at front of manifold (gap between manifold and block).

Can I put a little sealant on outside at the seam, or will I have to pull that whole darn thing off and reseal?

Thanks.

Get it as clean as possible from the outside. The smear a little Blue RTV over leak. Should seal no problem. I did this on the front of my pan after last cam swap.

Another vote for some gasket sealing silicone. I used black instead of blue though.

And I used orange( copper) just to match the block better tongue.gif Clean/degrease well, and push the stuff in with your finger, clean mess, and let it setup for overnight or so. I beleive, I let it set up and then cleaned the mess to ensure I didn;t pull any away.
