just courious has any one used this stuff and how does it proforms any noticable changes in proformance? Im thinking about droping a can in. it says it restores some lost compression. I have a compression checker and wanted to check after my next oil change to see if there was any improvement.

oil tech has come far these days, i would go with an oil change versus additives. there are long life oils, simi synthetics, synthetics... i would'nt want the chance of the additive to not coincide with the tech of my oil. that could be an expensive lesson. i think castroil and havoline have oils out, that claim to do the same thing, as the additive your talking about. i used restore years ago. i personaly think it worked, but, that was when oil was just oil. i've seen this type of thread on other sites. it usually becomes a full blown riot. i think on the jp site, it's up to over 500 replies. good luck.

I run it in my 295,000 mi daily beater S10 Blazer.
I had fixed a bunch of oil leaks only to find that oil was blowing out the dipstick tube! The 4.3 had a major blowby problem. It ran fine but the oiled down engine compartment left my carport or anywhere I parked a mess.
After adding a large can of Restore and one bottle of Bardahl oil leak formula the little Blazer quit pumping oil out the breather and the oil leaks are minimal for an engine with that kind of milage.
I love modern chemicals!!! :D

I know guy's who have had worn out engines and said it bought them time. said it works great. a good quality oil changed often is the way to fly, but if the engine is two steps from overhaul, why not check it out?.
