emdoller Nov 30th, 02, 4:33 PM Not sure if this is the right place to post this but... My 12 bolt rear on my 67'is dripping oil. It has just been rebuilt and has a new cover. I recently torqued it down and it didn't fix it. Any advice? Is there a way to drain it? CHELKAMINO Nov 30th, 02, 10:02 PM Just unbolt the cover!!! Make sure you have a big enough drain pan under it or you will have one heck of an oily mess!!! Onec you have the cover off and it is draining, jack the front of the car up to get it to drain better. That way all the oil will be out so you can get the gasket surface clean and dry for the new one. | ||
