Hi everyone, looking at a FAST EZ EFI for my 67. Where are you mounting your ECU? Tech says you should have 36 inches from all electronics. I have dual cooling fans and my MSD box is mounted on the firewall above the heater box. I was thinking of mounting the ECU behind the battery on the inner fenderwell. Any ideas and help would be great, thanks,Dave

That's where I mounted mine. Just in front of the hood hinge

I have it mounted on the passenger side fender liner in the Camaro and on the Beaumont it mounted on the rad support on the drivers side. Where you want to mount it should be fine just keep it away from the plug wires, coil and ign box.

I put mine on the passenger inner fender well. The harness routes nicely using some wire loom clips on the top heater box mounts. The other wires can route up under the fender and under the battery box for a somewhat clean look. The fuel pump and O2 sensor can route right down to the passenger frame rail.
I made some short aluminum legs with thick rubber washers to deal with the curve of the IF. If I did it again I would make a mounting plate out of 18 ga. like I did for the MSD on the drivers inner fender. It blends in better, works better and looks better.

I like it a lot. All you need is a second throttle body, linkage and injector harness jumpers which come in a kit. Oh ya, and a big honkin' hole in the hood!

Well.I'am going to run the single for now, then look at a low rise dual quad intake. See you list the god old rocking r as your home. I lived there in the late 70"s until the early 80's,still have family there. there was quite the street machine deal back then. I had an auto with a high-stall and 5.38's ,all behind a built 396 back then, tire dealers liked me. Car now has a Super T-10, 3.55's ,and amild 396.This winter ,tko-600 and the EZ EFI. Hope to take to Regine next summer on holidays.

Get in touch with me when your here. Still a pretty big street deal going on here. Lots of muscle car and rods. A&W is usually the place to meet but Albert St is still the cruise. The ricers and crotch rockets have made it bad for everyone though. I'm ususally safe in the garage by 9 pm. Don't want any part of their bull***** on the street.

Yes ,will contact you . Back in my day, you could get away with a little bit of bull#&@,but just use your head, you know, out in the industrial, no residential or school zones. You must be talking about the A&W on Albera and Avonhurst Drive, we used to all meet at the Legisative grounds, until too many wannebe's screwed it up,just like the ricers and crotch rockets are doing now.It was great while it lasted, was pretty much dead when I left. Good to see it back.

Well, its there, but not necessarily back. The legg is populated by kids so thats a waste of time. Still have the North 1/4 though. I was never really big into street racing.

Our street racing was usually a quick one block or so race. Most of our group liked to go to SIR in Saskatoon ,made it a weekend deal. I lived real close to Thom Colegiate, so I would get on the ring road for a run the the gears,it was brand new back then. Cruising the whole length of Albert Street was our usual deal, going late, around 2 or so. Most of us worked nights,so staying up late came easy. live out in the country now, so I go to the show n shines mostly, take in the airport drags. big show n shine and cruise in Three Hills this weekend. 1200 to 1500 cars most years.Been twice, hope to go next year.
