Hi all,

I am installing a Fel Pro one piece gasket a Cloyes quick button timing cover and a Milodon stock oil pan,The problem is The front seal is not contacting the pan enough and I can slide a piece of paper in between the gasket and pan.
I checked Summits site and they only sell one gasket for this year(72).What can I do to fix this ?

You have the gasket for the early pan. The front seal is 1/4" thick. All aftermarket pans use the later gasket. It takes a 3/8" seal at the front. In other words, you have the wrong gasket. Maybe Summit will exchange it for you.

You're in luck, I still have the receipt. I used Fel-Pro's #OS34510T (the first digit is an oh, the other is a zero). This fit my Moroso pan like a glove. In fact, this is the first Chevy SB I've ever had that doesn't have any leaks.
