What type of cylinder hones do you guys use for re-ring jobs? Rigid stone type or the flexible ball type. Also what grit stone is recommended. This is for a 350 with moly rings. I thought moly rings needed a fine grit but how fine? Also where did you guys purchase your hone?

400 grit ball hone works for me. Brush Research Manufacturing, some where in Ca.

The Brush Research Manufacturing is the one you want. I've seen them in most GOOD auto parts store for about $45.
