I am installing a new interior in my convertible and the holes for the two boot snaps that are located on the ashwells have been covered over (see attached pic of the old interior- they are the two at the top of the side panel). And I can't tell from the pics that I took how they go back in. There appears to be some sort of raised area on the back where they should be located, and since they are fine threaded bolts and not screws it leads me to believe that there should be some kind of threaded nut or something in that area but I don't want to cut the upholstery until I know the answer. Any advice or pics would be a big help.
