Does anyone have a 70 chevelle with power steer/SB engine? just wondering what the belt layout was and where the bracket mounts to support it.

looking at engine it's mounted lower right. I dont have a/c so belt is only on balancer and p/s behind belt for alt/waterpump.

I have a 70 307 with A/C and the PS pump is on the lower drivers side with the AC on top same belt runs both. the main crank has 2 grooves 1 for AC/PS and 1 for Alt./H2O.

My 70 conv (excuse me, my wife's) has 3 crank pulleys, 3 belts. It was a 307, now SB400. The ps is low left side with 2 pullys and ac above left. Alt is right upper. The rear belt is crank/ps only. The middle belt is crank/ac, but just rides a little on front ps pulley. The front belt is crank/water pump/alt. The ac belt does not touch the water pump.
My son's 71 BB, which used to be a SB, was the same.
