the engine is a 402 with speed pro L2242 pistons, stock 049 heads,weiand stealth intake and is an automatic tranny. currently have stock converter but will upgrade later and also the gears are 3.73's. the car will be used mainly for playing ie:not a daily driver. im looking for rcommendations for a good cam, something i can get from summitt or jegs. thanks

If you like the set it and forget way like me , the Comp xe274h cam i hear would be an excellent choice

IMHO,I wouldn't "limt" myself as to whats "available" from Summit or Jegs.Do you have any ET goals in mind or just a "fun" cruiser?

mainly just a cruiser that will see the track on occasion. looking for something that will light the tires up when i want:)

Those 2240's with dome or without, i.e., do you know the compression ratio?

Those 2242's are the same pistons I have in my 396 +.030. They have .335 dome and list a comp ratio of 10:59 with a 109 cc head. I am curious to know the comp ratio with a 119 cc head maybe milled 3-5 thousanths.
