I am putting my motor back together in the El Camino. It is bored .30 over, comp xe274h cam, 64cc fuelie heads, street dominator intake, stock thm350 tranny, and 3:08's in the rear. I have a holley 750 dual feed single pump carb, and i am trying to decide whether or not to use it. Any opinions on buildup or holley carbs? Thanks

A single pump carb should be a vacuum secondary carb. A 750 is probably the most used carb on a 350. Your's is a vacuum sec carb so the carb will only allow as much air as the engine needs. I ran a 780 3310-1 on a 301 and it worked just fine. Go for it. Double pumpers are where you have to be more careful. It is easy to overcarb with one. IIRC, Q-Jets came in two sizes, a 750 and an 800. They were used on gobs of 350's and smaller engines as well as BBs.
