Is it just me or is the site taking forever to load lately?

I realize that Im not a paying member but being that I use Firefox with Adblock+, I probably dont see any more ads than a gold or bold member does. Seems that the site takes much much longer to load than it did maybe a month ago. Ive defraged my disk, made sure that Im not loading all the ads on the page bla bla bla. It only seems to happen with this site though. I load Yellow Bullet right after I leave this site, and it loads super quick. I load The Hull Truth ( a boating forum) and it loads super quick. Pretty much any other site loads 10x faster than this one does.

I dont get it. Is anyone else having this problem? or is it just me!

I have Firefox and Adblock Plus, too, but haven't seen any change in speed - except when it's raining out; then everything seems to slow down. Don't know enough about computers to know what the problem might be.

Try pinging this site and see if it's slower than others.
Also try a tracert.
Sometimes I see a slowdown from the Canadian side.

Loading fine for me, with Firefox and ad-block plus. also no adds, none at all.:thumbsup:

Thanks guys. Something just seems weird to me that this site loads so slow and everything else loads quickly. Ive got a few things Im going to try and hopefully I can get this sorted out.

Same here for me, its been loading super slow for the past couple weeks and I've been on multiple computers with different browsers

Working fine for me also on firefox. When I use my girls laptop on the wireless it is very slow. But not at all on the desk top. Prob. my router.

My laptop with FF no ad block has been loading fine. My other computer with IE seems sluggish lately.

It totally depends upon the internet speed !... Forum site or Mozilla got nothing with that !
