The plastic window on my top is now broken. The top was torn a little already. My question is, should I just buy a new top, or should I buy the whole interior kit including a top from original parts? My car needs the interior eventually.

Any opinions on brand and quality appreciated.

I would think that interior kits are packaged and priced separately from convertible tops, so I can't imagine any real advantage to buying them together. Your car would have originally had a glass rear window from the factory, so I would get that if you get a new rear window panel or the whole top.

Unless you have done it before or are really good, pay to get it installed and yes it is glass.
