my engine cuts out a 4 grand or 3900 around there. anyway i have a 350 2 bolt main it is balanced edlebrock 600 carb with a edelbrock intake its the cheapest one performer i think. so its not the rpm one i have a hei dist. thanks for the help

Check your float levels.
check fuel pressure.
If that is not it, you might be floating the
valves around there. You don't mention
what cam/springs you have.
