Is there any markings or anything to let me know where the wires are supposed to go? I bought a firewall engine kit for a 1970 Nova, and the factory harness in the car has been butchered and components are missing, so it makes it difficult for me to do a simple swap. I connected which wires I knew, but the there are several that I just don't know what they go to. Mostly they are on the passenger side of the firewall if that helps

No, the OEM styled Factory Fit harnesses are not marked in any way. The reason we do not mark them is that they are correct restoration grade products, and if we marked the wires or otherwise, they would no longer be correct or original. We tell people to use the factory assembly manual as they contain excellent diagrams on how the harness routes and what plugs into where in those books. The other thing is that we are here M-F, 8-5. If you give our tech line a call, someone can walk you thru what wires go where.

I will say this: being a 1970 car, there are several emissions related connections on that harness for the TCS setup. If your car is modified or has been hot rodded over the years, there is a good likelihood that many of the wires in question the other side of the distributor, which are for that TCS setup, will not be used in your instance. I would suggest calling the tech line and having one of our guys walk the harness with you. It's a real easy one to do.

Good luck with your project!
