Hi, I'm just curious because some guy wants to sell a pair from his bb 70 camaro. Would they fit my 65 bb? I also looked in summit and jegs and it says only the dynomax's fits 68-72 chevelles and camaros, but hooker and hedman would fit all chevelle from 64-72 including second gen camaros. I wonder why that is? thanks for the help. Eric

Dynomax probably bends their pipes in a different configuration than the others. Try to compare the ones you want to buy with a catalog picture, if possible. Is there a Hooker or Hedman tag tack welded to one of the primary tubes?

The Dynomax headers will fit, but they will need "clearancing"... If you need headers and they are a good price and you are not worried about denting them (can't really be seen once installed), then they could work...
Next time, I will NOT use the Dynomax. I believe they, the same part number, used to be listed for 64-72 Chevelles, but changed the application, probably because of complaints...

Now I get it, and it was a good price, it was ceramic coated, but I don't know if I want to do the denting to the ceramic. So would you now buy some dynomax's because of this change? What do you use? thanks. Eric
