I've purchased an OEM replacement rotor for the left front suspension. The rotor on the right side is the one I talked about before with the singular groove all the way around the circumference of the rotor. Do you think I'll have braking problems with two different kinds of rotors????? Thanks.

You won't have any problem.

Thanks. I just thought I would because the rotor with the groove in it also has a groove in the brake shoes. Since they had a little bit less surface area, I thought it might affect the braking (making the car pull to one side). I hope it doesn't!!

I never did know why they put that groove in some of them, you won't notice any difference in braking. Philip

Thanks for the tip, it's very reassuring to hear that it won't affect my braking b/c I've been worrying about it since I haven't received my new rotor yet. Seems like we're the only two on the site right now at this hour!!!
