The car is a 68 ss convertible. Ihave installed new glass and would like to show it off.Would you show a convertible with the top up or down?? Windows up if top is up??

If it is like the corvette shows we did, the car is shown with the top up, windows, or our case side curtins in place. This was NCRS and Bloomington, if it is a local parking lot show, show it the way you like it. I don't know if you have done much of this, but I find watching the grass grow is more fun. Most of the people are nice, but there is always one you would like to do a burn out on!

I would show it with the top down. But, if you show it with the top up, I would put the windows up so you can show off all the glass http://www.chevelles.com/forum/wink.gif Enjoy the ride...

If the top is in good shape, leave it up. If I see a car at a show with the top down, I start to wonder if they are hiding something. (might be just me)

If you are being judged, they will want the top up with windows closed. If your just showing for fun and the weather is nice, keep it down and enjoy.

We have a 71 conv that is blue with a white top and white interior and we have to deal witht this decision all the time. I would say check with the show judges/admin and see which way they prefer otherwise just show it however you like it best!!!
