I need an original/replacement oil pressure switch for my '68 396 w/OE guages but am striking out with the usuall sources.....anyone know where i might find one?

I'm no expert, but....

I was under impression the "switch" was used for lights, which just triggered on/off of light, and a different sending unit was used for gauge dash. Most of the catalogs have the sending unit for gauge dash. Is this one incorrect compared to original?
