I am looking for the oil galley blocks on the back of a BBC. (Installed in the car) I can't seem to see them. Are they hidden behind the bell housing for the flywheel? I thought I read somewhere here that if I drop a mirror behind the distributor I would see them.

Nope. They are behind the bellhousing.
