Doing a pieced together power disk conversion. Have a 11" Bendix booster and a master with a short pocket. Where can I find the right booster rod ?

Check that there is not a removable spacer in the m/c. Some aftermarket have this type of spacer to accommodate both rod length.

Otherwise:

Did not realize it was a Bendix booster. Read this post (http://www.chevelles.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2773107&postcount=6) for more info.

With a Bendix booster I think you have no choice and you need the correct deep bore m/c.

I'm not an expert on Bendix booster, but IIRC your not suppose to remove the pushrod from the booster. There is a disc sandwiched between the pushrod and the internal components of the booster, and it will fall inside the booster when removing the pushrod. Delco-Moraine are constructed differently, so it is not a problem.

This is from a Ford, but you can see the «reaction disc»:
