once again i've got no fewer than 6 repair manuals, shop assemb, etc. that don't clearly show all the stupid vacuum connetions. maybe somebody can throw me .02 and save me some frustration.
application is '70 with a 283 ('64). i'm swapping original 2bbl and intake with the 64's intake and quadrajet... here's what i have:
one line on the high back pointing rearward, that goes to air cleaner i think
one large tube just below the fuel filter pointing forward
one small tube 90 degrees off pass side (choke)
one small tube on front, driver's side pointing forward
one other small tube above fuel filter that is capped off.

my car was noticeably void of emmissions items when purchased, i.e. no cansister.
is it worth putting the can back on?

The big guy, front/center low, is your PCV line, the little guy, front/right high, is your spark vacuum spot, and I don't know what the one above fuel filter is. The Q had full vacuum ports, one goes to the air cleaner to run the thermo valve, the other (yours is capped) for various vacuum needs.
